Our DVD DOCUMENTARY, “EVER ANCIENT, EVER NEW: WITCHCRAFT BY THE HEARTHSIDE” has been a project we have had a dream and aspiration to do for 8 years. We have talked about the concept and creation over the years and held the vision, knowing there would be a right time and opportunity to bring it into manifestation.
We worked with an amazing team of people from a professional production company at eTown Videos who brought their creativity and expertise to our project. Their willingness to work with us while gathering the financial means opened the door! An example of their work is our introduction video which we feel is awesome and only an inkling of what the DVD is.
It has always been, and continues to be, the passion of our lives to keep the Old Ways flame burning and preserve the tradition and ways of our ancestors while bringing them forward into the 21st Century understanding and practice.
“Ever Ancient, Ever New: Witchcraft by the Hearthside ” is a 2 hour DVD which explores the roots and ways of Witchcraft throughout the Ages in this groundbreaking video. Here author Raven Grimassi brings over four decades of research, insights, and personal experience to bear on a variety of intriguing topics.
Highlighted in the video are Night Spirits, old Witch lore, aspects of ritual & magic, deity concepts, and insights designed to rethink the “official” history of Witchcraft. In addition the video explores the role of the creative elements of earth, air, fire and water in the art of Witchcraft. This truly unique presentation is sure to enrich the understanding and practice of contemporary Witchcraft.
