Clan Umbrea is a group of initiates of the Arician Tradition (a system of Italian Witchcraft), a tradition founded and directed by Raven Grimassi. It is comprised of individuals with diverse educational, intellectual, and philosophical backgrounds, including authors and publishers, attorneys, computer experts, psychologists, musicians and artists. Several of our initiates hold degrees in history, anthropology, psychology, geology, mythology and literature. Our initiates are throughout the United States and in Australia. While associated with Raven Grimassi through initiation into the Tradition, the members of Clan Umbrea remain independent, discerning individuals who bring their unique perspectives to interpreting the teachings of Italian Witchcraft.
Being Italian is not a prerequisite to being an initiate of the Arician Tradition, and our members share a diverse cultural heritage including English, Irish, Scottish, German, Native American, Lebanese, Puerto Rican and other ethnic backgrounds.
